The Project includes the following Work as described in the Contract Documents: Construction of a 6,826 SF building that will house meeting space, restrooms, a staff kitchen, and chemical storage and distribution equipment providing water treatment chemicals for the existing treatment plant; on-site sodium hypochlorite generators, relocation of an existing 24” water distribution pipe; associated electrical improvement; site/civil improvements; public street frontage improvements; and storm water facilities. The work generally consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing required labor, equipment, and materials for construction of the Water Quality Systems Building facility as described in the Contract Documents. SCOPE OF WORK A. The work to be performed under these specifications and drawings consists of furnishing of all services, materials, equipment, and labor necessary for the construction of the Water Quality Systems Building. Project location is 15962 Hunter Avenue, Oregon City, Oregon. B. The Project includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Construction of Water Quality Systems Building Chemical Process piping, tanks, pumps and valving. 2. Construction of Water Quality Systems Building of concrete masonry unit (CMU) and steel framed roof construction, including metal roofing, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing; 3. Furnish and install site stormwater conveyance and treatment facilities; 4. Construction of a Common Utility Trench and connections between the existing facilities and the new Water Quality Systems Building; 5. Furnish and install site sanitary sewer conveyance facilities; 6. Site clearing, including tree removal, grading, and earthwork; 7. Excavation for and backfilling of above components as required for a complete installation; 8. Furnish and install restrained, ductile iron water piping, diameter sizes as shown on the Drawings, including valves and appurtenances; 9. Construction of Swan Avenue Half-street improvements including curb ramps, AC Paving, concrete sidewalks, driveway, and curb ramps, storm facilities, electrical, fencing and gates, driveway construction, traffic control, and retaining wall construction. 10. Connection of the new water mains to existing main lines, including transmission mains, distribution mains, and reservoir site piping connections; 11. Site access roadway including curbing, grading, AC Paving, parking areas, signage and striping. 12. Landscaping and site screening; 13. Street lighting improvements; 14. Electrical improvements at the site; 15. Abandonment of existing utilities and miscellaneous structures; and 16. Restoration of work site areas to original or better condition, including grading, temporary and permanent paving, erosion control, and other measures as required.
