The Tumwater Falls Facility Modification project involves the demolition the existing facility, construction of the new chinook salmon holding ponds, mechanical building, fish windows, spawning shed, pollution abatement pond, electrical service upgrades, significant landscaping improvements around the new and existing facilities.  Also includes a new fresh water intake structure into the adjacent river, all items to be completed during a tight in water work period before the salmon return to the facility to spawn.    The tight timeline drives significant labor forces to complete in the short permit “fish” window.
