Rehabilitating deficient elements of the 94-year old structure, including sandblasting (including abrasive containment), cleaning, replacing missing fasteners, repairing bearings, repairing and strengthening gusset plates and truss members, replacing sliding steel plate joints, placing a new epoxy overlay on the bridge deck, resealing the panel point joints, replacing the concrete bridge rail on bridge approach spans, and repainting the bridge.
