Stellar J was contracted to perform a facility upgrade for Foristar, LLC.  The project scope included the addition of two (2) Caterpillar 3520 engine generators fueled by biogas delivered from the adjacent Miramar Landfill and associated mechanical and electrical and instrumentation required to integrate this upgrade power capacity to the existing controls.  This plant sends power directly to the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar (MCAS Miramar) and generates approximately 50% of the power used by the base.
