Green River Water Treatment Plant

Stellar J was the prime contractor for structural concrete and mechanical piping and equipment placement on this 200 MGD water treatment plant for Tacoma, the project was “fast tracked” to complete the work by a hard compliance date.

Stellar J placed 26,000 cubic yards of concrete for water bearing structures, buildings and foundations.  Following on the heels of the structural concrete, Stellar J procured and installed the equipment and piping and other mechanical components while performing project wide co-ordination responsibilities using Building Information Modeling (BIM) services to resolve drawing errors or other issues prior to committing time and costs into the project.  In all, Stellar J dedicated 194,000 manhours to lead this project to meet its mandatory completion date.
