The seismic retrofit of the McGraw Street Bridge includes the following general items of
work: strengthening of arch struts and columns with Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer
(CFRP); retrofitting column rebar end anchorage; constructing in-fill walls; strengthening
floorbeams with concrete bolsters; strengthening deck slab with CFRP; and constructing
longitudinal and transverse restrainers at expansion joints.
