Job Location:
The Ankeny Pump Station is located within Waterfront Park adjacent to Saturday
market. The east wall of the pump room is part of the Willamette River sea wall.
The Ankeny Pump Station is located in Portland, OR at the West end of the Burnside Bridge within Waterfront Park and adjacent to Saturday market. The east wall of the pump room is part of the Willamette River sea wall.

Project Description:

1. Demolishing existing sewage pumps, piping systems, electrical building, electrical distribution equipment, control equipment, seal water system, hydraulic system, restroom plumbing fixtures, and HVAC equipment.

2. Removal and disposal of asbestos containing material (ACM) and lead based paint (LBP). See hazardous building assessment report in index.

3. Providing temporary electrical power system for the maintenance of pump station operations.

4. Constructing structural frames, walls and beams.

5. Constructing new stairways, ladders, platforms, catwalks, and access hatch.

6. Installing new electrical power distribution equipment and lighting systems.

7. Installing new electrical instrumentation and control equipment.

8. Constructing a new restroom facility with new restroom fixtures and appurtenances.

9. Modifying the existing wet well wall.

10. Installing four sewage pumps.

11. Installing all required piping, isolation valves, fittings, pipeline pigging, and flow meter equipment.

12. Modifying the existing storm pump valves and piping to add a recirculation line to the wet well to exercise the storm protection pumps.

13. Constructing a new seal water system.

14. Installing new HVAC equipment including louvers.

15. Upgrading the potable and non-potable water system, including reduced pressure backflow assemblies (RPBA's) and water heater.

16. Painting interior walls, equipment and existing roof.
